Atos Medical is pleased to announce a documentary about the transition from life with a voice box to one without. “Can You Hear My Voice?” is told through the personal accounts of members of the Shout at Cancer Choir in London, made up of individuals who have undergone a laryngectomy. Throughout the film, the choir members share their personal experiences of life after surgery and overcoming the obstacles of living as a laryngectomee as they prepare for and perform a special concert.
Directed and Produced by Bill Brummel
Bill Brummel is an award-winning documentary producer, director and writer, who has been recognized with a Peabody Award, multiple national Emmy nominations, as well as International Documentary Award nominations.
Bill is also a laryngectomee, and “Can You Hear My Voice?” is his first film since having his own voice box removed.
